Authors Instruction

Instructions for Authors

The International Journal of Modern Achievement in Science, Engineering and Technology (IJSET) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts in science, engineering, and technology. Authors should carefully follow the instructions below before submitting their manuscript.

1. Before Submission

Authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original and has not been previously published.

  • The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.

  • The manuscript falls within the scope of IJSET.

  • All authors have approved the manuscript and its submission.

  • The manuscript is written in clear and professional English.

  • All sources, figures, tables, and other materials are appropriately cited.

  • All applicable ethical requirements have been fulfilled.

2. Manuscript Structure

A research article should generally include the following sections, where applicable:

  1. Title

  2. Author Names and Affiliations

  3. Corresponding Author Information

  4. Abstract

  5. Keywords

  6. Introduction

  7. Materials and Methods / Methodology

  8. Results

  9. Discussion

  10. Conclusion

  11. Acknowledgments

  12. Funding Information

  13. Conflict of Interest Statement

  14. Data Availability Statement

  15. References

The structure may vary according to the type and nature of the manuscript.

3. Title

The title should be concise, specific, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript. Unnecessary abbreviations should be avoided.

4. Author Information

For each author, provide:

  • Full name;

  • Department or research unit, where applicable;

  • Institutional affiliation;

  • City and country;

  • Email address, where required.

The corresponding author should be clearly identified and will be responsible for communication with the editorial office.

5. Abstract

The abstract should briefly describe the purpose of the study, methodology, principal findings, and conclusions, as appropriate.

The abstract should be clear and self-contained and should avoid unnecessary references and unexplained abbreviations.

6. Keywords

Authors should provide 3–6 keywords that accurately represent the main subjects and concepts of the manuscript.

7. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should:

  • Be numbered consecutively;

  • Be referred to in the main text;

  • Have clear titles or captions;

  • Be of sufficient quality for publication;

  • Include appropriate source or permission information where third-party material is used.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted material when required.

8. References

All references should be accurate, relevant, and complete.

Every reference cited in the manuscript should appear in the reference list, and every reference listed should be cited in the text.

Authors should use a consistent referencing style throughout the manuscript.

9. Ethical Requirements

Research involving human participants, animals, personal data, or clinical studies must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional or national requirements.

Where applicable, authors should provide details of ethical approval, the responsible ethics committee or institutional review board, approval/reference number, and informed consent.

10. Originality and Plagiarism

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their submitted work.

IJSET does not accept plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, inappropriate data or image manipulation, or other forms of research misconduct.

Manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism or other publication-ethics concerns during the editorial and peer-review process.

11. Authorship

All individuals listed as authors must have made meaningful contributions to the research and manuscript.

All authors must approve the submitted manuscript and agree with the authorship order.

Any request to add, remove, or change the order of authors after submission must be appropriately justified and approved by all affected authors.

12. Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest.

If no conflict exists, authors should include the following statement:

“The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.”

13. Funding

Authors should disclose all sources of financial support for the research, where applicable.

If no specific funding was received, an appropriate statement should be included.

14. Data Availability

Authors should provide a Data Availability Statement where applicable.

Supporting data, materials, software, or other research resources should be made available where reasonably possible, subject to ethical, legal, privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property requirements.

15. Submission and Editorial Assessment

Submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their suitability for the journal's scope, academic standards, ethical requirements, and peer review.

Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's basic requirements or fall outside its scope may be rejected before external peer review.

16. Peer Review

Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are reviewed by qualified reviewers.

Reviewers assess the manuscript's originality, significance, methodology, academic quality, clarity, and overall contribution.

The possible editorial decisions include:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

17. Revised Manuscripts

When revisions are requested, authors should submit a revised version within the timeframe specified by the editorial office.

Authors should provide a clear response to substantive reviewer and editor comments and indicate the changes made in the revised manuscript.

18. Article Processing Charge

The Article Processing Charge for an accepted manuscript is:

€170 per accepted article

The APC is charged only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. There is no submission fee or peer-review fee.

Following successful payment and completion of the publication process, the article will be prepared for online publication and assigned a DOI through Crossref.

19. Open Access and Copyright

IJSET is an open-access journal. Published articles are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

Authors retain copyright of their work in accordance with the journal's Copyright Terms and Copyright Notice.

20. Publication

Accepted articles are prepared for online publication following completion of the editorial and publication procedures.

Published articles receive a DOI registered through Crossref to support persistent identification and scholarly discoverability.
